Assessments in English
Dr. Gilda Palti administers psycho-educational assessments for bilingual children and adults, and those with specific learning difficulties. The assessment can be administered in English and/or in Hebrew.
The assessments are relevant to Israeli pupils who have studied abroad and have returned to Israel, and are in the process of joining the education system in Israel.
The reports can be used by pupils moving from Israel to study in schools in Europe and the U.S.A.
Dr. G. Palti also assesses students wishing to attend Universities abroad. The assessments fulfil the requirements of universities in Europe and the U.S.A. and can be used for disability allowance (DSA), and for special arrangements or accommodations in exams (for example, G-MAT and SAT tests).
The assessments will involve a series of psychometric tests to measure I.Q., spatial, verbal and memory skills, and literacy skills such as reading, spelling, writing, and numeracy skills in a standardised way to compare with the age group and normal range of these skills.
The report outlines potential, strengths and weaknesses, and indicates if an individual has a specific learning difficulty, such as dyslexia. It also provides important information about specific learning needs and suggestions for action.
